"King Maker", a film lacking superstars, not a big budget movie either, still it brings tears well in your eyes and your heart become heavy with sadness. The story of 'King Maker' is of a great personality whose only property are his untainted hands. The film, which has already been released in Tamil, has been dubbed now in English. With no view to monetary gains, the director has made the film purely for future generations to learn values from the life of Kamaraj and the music composed by Ilayaraja only adds to the film's sensibility. After losing power and heartbroken after being beset with various political problems, Kamaraj looks at his life in rewind mode. That's the start of the film. Fighting for the country's independence, he went to jail many times. He then became leader of the Tamilnadu Congress Committee and later the Chief Minister.
