In an effort to put Chennai in the economic stream like other cities, Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin has unveiled his plans to attract Chennai as an investment hub.
As a part of this, Stalin announced that a financial city could be set up near Chennai with private- public patnership mode that would comprise of banks, insurance companies, mutual fund firms, and stock market players.
He also stressed on the need for an Aerospace Park project and setting up of an entertainment cumcommunication technology park in the State.
