Assembly condoles death of Cong MLA

State Assembly has condoled the death of Congress MLA D Selvaraj from Srivaikuntam constituency, who passed away in Chennai on Sunday following cardiac arrest.
To mark tribute to the deceased member, two minutes of silence was obserbed at the House and later the Speaker adjourned the House for the day. He was 59 and survived by wife and three children.
With his death, the Cong strength in the House now stands at 34.
