Kanimozhi opts out

With DMK set to join the UPA government at he Center, 7 of its leaders are expected to be inducted into the government with 3 cabinet berths and 4 MoS berths.

However DMK Chief Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi who was offered a MoS berth is said to have opted out of the race stating that she would atleast for now prefer to work for the party rather than join the government.

 Her brother M K Azhagiri, cousin Dayanidhi Maran and A Raja are the ones thath the party has nominated for cabinet berths.
