PV: Actress Shriya has replaced Trisha for the Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster Jab We Met. Initially, Trisha was supposed to play the role enacted by Kareena Kapoor in the original. Jab We Met was a big hit in Hindi which featured Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. The feel-good romantic entertainer won the hearts of youth straight away and was hot property down south for a remake.    The much awaited action thriller Bheema directed by N. Linguswamy has finally made a Pongal release. The film plot which deals on underworld gang wars. The film is highly packed with superstunts and gunfires. Hero Vikram as Sekhar and Ashish Vidyarthi as police cmmissioner excels. Equally powerful are characters of the gangleaders Prakash Raj as Chinna and Raghuvaran as Periyavar. Female lead Trisha does a fair job. The film has nothing new to offer except for some powerful performances and action sequences. Nayan: Heroine Trisha who was the leading heroine in Tollywood, seemed to have lost her position after Ileana broke on to the scene. But following the success of Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule (Telugu) , which was directed by Selvaraghavan and featured Venkatesh in the lead role, Trisha was lauded for her commendable performance in the film. The actress appears to have started off this New Year on a sweet note, as her recent release Krishna, which was directed by V. V. Vinayak and stars Ravi Teja, is leading the pack in Sankaranthi releases. Nayan: Crossing all hurdles the Vikram-Trisha starrer Bheema directed by Lingusamy, is finally getting released for this Pongal. Sources reveal that at the end of the panchayath that was held, Vikram sacrificed around Rs 1.2 crore and Lingusamy around Rs 60 lakhs which the producer A.M. Ratnam still owes them towards their remuneration so that the film could get released without hassles. And it looks like all' well that end's well because the film has done a business of Rs 35 crore already, making it the highest selling Pongal release, and ensuring Vikram's star power at the box-office. Vadivelu's big budget film Indralogathil Na Azhagappan, directed by Thambi Ramayya, is not lagging behind either. Labels: Trisha, Vikram

Nayan: Actress Trisha recently bought a swanky new set of wheels — a Model 5 Series BMW car, which she booked some months ago. The actress, who was very particular about getting a black-coloured model and had also asked for some custom-made alterations, had to wait a little longer than usual to pick up the car. Apparently, Trisha was so thrilled when she received the car that she drove down to a temple for a pooja and then took it to Prasad studios where she was shooting for Kuruvi with Vijay in Chennai.
